Atlanta's Art presents "Snow Angels"

For this year's Festival of Trees for Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Atlanta's Art is pleased to present "Snow Angels."  Our theme this year is a scene from the Nutcracker Ballet, "The Land of Snow."  Our hand made ornaments consist of glass balls swirled with blue paint, snowflakes, and glitter along with paper ballerinas with snowflake design doily skirts.

The Festival of Trees is located at Cameron Art Museum and runs from Nov 19th until December 7, 2014.  http://capefearfestivaloftrees.org/

Snow Angels

Snow Angels dance,
in a field of white,
arms move like wings,
to the rhythm of life.

Feet shuffling slow,
in a graceful ballet,
touching the snow,
getting lost in their play.

Snowflakes like stars,
fall from the sky,
musical notes,
from angels on high.

Icicles sparkle,
tears frozen in time,
memories of childhood,
set free in our minds.

The best part of fund raising for JDRF is meeting all the wonderful families who care so much about finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.  Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table this weekend.

Fish Series


Atlanta's Art will be offering note cards and prints from my new Fish Series and Seashell Series for 100% donations to JDRF at the Mayfair walk on November 15th.  We will be there starting at 9:00 Saturday morning and staying through the end of the walk.
