Atlanta's Art presents "Snow Angels"

For this year's Festival of Trees for Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Atlanta's Art is pleased to present "Snow Angels."  Our theme this year is a scene from the Nutcracker Ballet, "The Land of Snow."  Our hand made ornaments consist of glass balls swirled with blue paint, snowflakes, and glitter along with paper ballerinas with snowflake design doily skirts.

The Festival of Trees is located at Cameron Art Museum and runs from Nov 19th until December 7, 2014.  http://capefearfestivaloftrees.org/

Snow Angels

Snow Angels dance,
in a field of white,
arms move like wings,
to the rhythm of life.

Feet shuffling slow,
in a graceful ballet,
touching the snow,
getting lost in their play.

Snowflakes like stars,
fall from the sky,
musical notes,
from angels on high.

Icicles sparkle,
tears frozen in time,
memories of childhood,
set free in our minds.

The best part of fund raising for JDRF is meeting all the wonderful families who care so much about finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.  Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table this weekend.

Maw & Papa's Hospice Memorial Bench in honor of our family

Atlanta's Art and Keller's, Inc. are pleased to present our family's memorial bench located at the recently expanded Lower Cape Fear Hospice Patient Care Facility in Wilmington, NC.

Our bench will provide a place for patients and families visiting the Hospice center to "Rest now and find peace."

Fundraising efforts and family donations to Hospice over the past two years have earned us this honor to recognize my grandparents, Atlanta King Taylor and Wilbur Jennings Taylor.  We will always love you Maw & Papa!!

Atlanta's Art at Cameron Art Museum's State of the Art/Art of the State Exhibition

Atlanta's Art is excited to participate in the Cameron Art Museum's "State of the Art/Art of the State" exhibition which runs from September 20, 2014 until February 12, 2015.  Specifically selected for its highlights of feature attractions in North Carolina's Outer Banks, my Winged Horse print is a celebration of special memories of our family vacations there.

Atlanta's Art donates to JDRF Hope Gala

JDRF Coastal Carolina Branch is holding their 2014 Hope Gala on Saturday, May 17th 2014 at the Wilmington Convention Center.  Their theme this year is "Families Unite as ONE."

Atlanta's Art supports our family member Catherine Carter who has type 1 diabetes.  We are donating two framed prints of New Day & Blue Wave for their silent auction at the Gala.
