Atlanta's Art at Riverfest!

Atlanta's Art at Riverfest
A BIG "Thank You!" to all those who helped make this weekend possible!  We raised close to $1000 for our various charities, passed out grocery lists for Good Shepherd and walk info for JDRF, told people about Welcome Home Angel, posted "Angels" in memory of loved ones for Hospice donations, sold our first painting for the Wilmington Ballet, and accepted donations for Mercy House.  It was a VERY successful start for Atlanta's Art.  Now that the business is underway and we have all our "supplies" in place, you can look for us to appear at more events around Wilmington!

Of course, the best part was talking to all the generous people who came to our booth to donate!  Their stories about friends and relatives who have worked with or been helped by these wonderful organizations was so heartwarming.  We decided to give out a total of 8 prizes from our "drawing" list!  Congrats to all the winners.

Welcome Home Angel joins Atlanta's Art fundraisers

"Jenny the Garden Fairy"
Atlanta's Art is pleased to announce our fundraising at Riverfest for Welcome Home Angel http://www.welcomehomeangel.com.  They bring joy and fun into the homes of children with chronic and debilitating illnesses or injuries by providing families with home "makeovers" to help with their special needs.

My daughter, Jenny, hopes to bring just as much joy and fun by choosing them for our "Spirit of the Butterfly" series (featuring Jenny, of course).  http://spiritofthebutterfly.blogspot.com/

Prints and note cards from this series are being offered to those donating to Welcome Home Angel. Atlanta's Art will also provide this organization with any prints they need for the children's rooms which they design.
